Information Strategy

The existence of an information strategy in a company helps to manage the information system and thereby positively affect the achievement of global strategic goals of the company and its overall market success. This thesis focuses on the creation of an information strategy in a company based on the Czech market, in the sector of small and medium-sized companies. The first part presents theoretical basis of the topic. The second part is devoted to a detailed analysis of the current condition of the company and its potential, which makes it possible in the third part, to identify appropriate amendments, which will be implemented within the enterprise information strategy. The proposed changes will be consistent with the overall strategy of the company and lead to better support of the future development of the company in the market.

Design and Implementation of Enterprise Information System

This diploma thesis deals with the assessment, selection, and implementation of an information system. The thesis first introduces the theoretical background needed to understand the issue. In the next step, analyzes of the current state of the company are performed. Furthermore, the requirements for the new information system are summarized, and the evaluation of information system variants is performed together with the subsequent selection of the optimal variant. The following is a description of the implementation of the selected system using project management techniques and an evaluation of the results of the whole work.

It is presented as a project based on analysis of the company and the order process. The project consists of a draft of implementation during continuous operations and costs calculation for implementation of the system.

Design of Trading Strategy for Managing of Free Financial Capital of the Company

This thesis deals with the design of trading strategies suitable for trading the currency markets. Design is carried out by means of artificial intelligence, the proposed strategies are then optimized and evaluated using previously unknown data. The partial objective is to implant this process in an existing company with the aim to broaden its capital. The consequences arising from this trading approach to the development of the company’s capital are subsequently studied from several perspectives – a schedule is outlined for the introduction into the company that has been chosen earlier, then the expected costs and revenues are compared in the scope of medium-term and in the last part the above procedure is analyzed so its risks can be pointed out and therefore procedures for their restrictions can be proposed as well.

The diploma thesis includes the assessment, analysis and preparation of proposals to improve the efficiency and security of the information system and the company itself operating in the field of translation and localization services. The first part of the thesis is focused on the theoretical background related to the problem of the thesis. The second part is dedicated to the business, its analysis and the analysis of its internally developed information system. Based on the results of these analyses, the final part of the thesis will propose changes that will lead to the simplification of business processes and increase the productivity of the company.

The diploma thesis deals with assessment of the information system of selected company which focuses on providing services in financial field. In the first part of the thesis, theoretical background and analytical methods are presented, which are used in the analytical part. The second part of the thesis presents the company, its analysis and information system analysis. Based on this, the final part of the thesis proposes a change that leads to the efficiency of processes in the company and to the elimination of detected deficiencies.

The thesis focuses on assessing the information production system of a company and proposing improvements. The theoretical part describes the concepts related to this topic. The theoretical part is followed by an analytical section focused on analyzing the external and internal environment of the company and its production information system, evaluating its overall effectiveness and security. Based on the findings from the analytical section, a proposal for addressing identified deficiencies is presented in the final section of the thesis.

This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a web application for inventory management in an agricultural company. This work is an application that aims to improve the shortcomings of the company in the field of inventory management. The first important chapter is the theoretical basis on which the work is based. The next main chapter is the analysis of the current situation of the company which justifies the needed change. This is immediately followed by a chapter describing the introduced change, the implementation of the application and its benefits for the company.
